How to Add the Drum Kits to BeatMaker 3

1. Download and Unzip

Download Urban Drum Kits Summer 2026 to your iPad.

Open the Files app and unzip the downloaded archive. Once extracted, you'll have access to the BeatMaker 3 kits and their associated WAV samples.

2. Launch BeatMaker 3

Open BeatMaker 3 on your iPad and either start a new project or open one of your existing sessions.

3. Open the BeatMaker 3 Browser

Open the built-in Browser. This is where BeatMaker 3 lets you navigate through banks, presets, samples and imported files.

4. Import the Pack

Find the extracted Urban Drum Kits Summer 2026 folder in the iOS Files app and copy or import the BeatMaker 3 content into a location accessible from BeatMaker 3.

For the easiest setup, keep the kit files and their corresponding sample folders together.

5. Find the Included Kits

From the BeatMaker 3 Browser, navigate to the folder containing the imported kits.

Look for:

The included BeatMaker bank files can be loaded as complete kits, saving you from having to manually assign every drum sound to a pad.

6. Load a Drum Kit

Choose one of the 58 included kits and load it as a bank.

The associated drum sounds should automatically populate the BeatMaker 3 pads, giving you an instantly playable drum setup.

7. Start Making Beats

Switch to the Pads view and start playing.

Try different patterns, change the tempo, layer sounds, adjust individual pads and build your beat directly inside BeatMaker 3.

8. Switch Between Kits

Want a different sound?

Go back to the Browser and load another kit. With 58 drum kits included, you can quickly jump between different drum combinations until you find the right sound for your track.

9. Build Your Own Kits With the WAV Files

You're not limited to the pre-made banks.

The download also includes 900 individual WAV drum samples that you can browse, audition and assign to BeatMaker 3 pads yourself.

Mix kicks from one folder with snares, hats and percussion from another to create completely new custom drum kits.

Important: After importing the pack, avoid moving or renaming individual sample files used by the BeatMaker banks. Keeping the original folder structure intact helps prevent missing-sample problems.
